I am all about transparency and want to make sure that you know what my promise is to you.
I will be there to document your birth, unless I am unable to. What does that mean? Unless I’m at another birth or have other life circumstances that prevent me from attending, I will be there.
If I am unable to attend your birth due to a precipitous labor & birth or if I am not called (have clear communication), I will still come and document immediate postpartum as well as come back within the first week and do a Fresh Baby documentary session (it is usually the next day).
If I am unable to attend your birth due to a prior commitment (such as being at another birth) I will provide an in home posed newborn session within the first two weeks.
I do not work with a team, it is just me, myself and I; but in all the years that I have documented birth stories I have only had to call in a back up twice. Once was due to mama having the baby at 35 weeks and happen to be out of town visiting a friend who just had a miscarriage. The other was to stand in until I got there just in case things moved quickly (I was still there for the birth).
